The School Council consists of two pupils from each class from Y2 upwards. Pupils prepare and present a short speech to their class giving reasons why they should be elected; the class members then vote.
The School Council meet fortnightly and bring suggestions from their class to the meeting which are discussed.
During the year the School Council will also take part in various activities including escorting parents to their appointments at parent’s evenings and organising fundraising activities. Our school charity this year is MacMillian. Last year we supported Overgate Hospice, a local cancer charity, we also fundraise for Children in Need and Comic Relief.
